• 10 lessons are provided per term
• Instrumental
lessons are taught during the school day.
|
|
• Students
come out of lessons on a weekly rotation to ensure that
the same lesson is not missed more than once a half-term.
• The
times of lessons will be displayed on the
music notice board outside room 25 at the start of the term. • Any alterations
to times will be displayed here, so the notice board must be
checked weekly.
• Pupils
will need to provide their own instrument for lessons and bring
it each week.
• Pupils
should label their instrument case. The school will assume the
instrument is the property of the music department
if this is not done correctly.
• Once
a pupil has reached a fair standard on her instrument she is
required to join a school ensemble. This will help her general
musicianship including sight-reading, aural and listening skills.
• A
notice period of one term, which should be submitted in writing,
is required to stop lessons. Otherwise full payment
will be incurred.
• Please
complete the application form below and return by e-mail or post
to the Music Department.
